I am a 25-year-old creative writer based in Dallas, working as a copywriter in advertising.
I write as a means to translate the crypted language of emotions: giving words to what can’t be explained.
For my poetry to be a mirror to their reader.
I was born in the El Paso-Ciudad Juárez border, unaware I’d continue to live in one inside my head. Intrinsically exploring the limits of sanity to write the discoveries into stories, ads, poems, and now a book.
I’d love to say I’ve been writing since I was a kid, but it’s only been 3 years of its exponential development and 2 of becoming a passionate craft.
I write not for enjoyment, but because I forgot what life was before it.
His Name is New York marks my literary debut as a writer, and hopefully marks something in you— the reader.
